National Defense Authorization Act For Fiscal Year 2011
The Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (, ), is a law in the United States signed by President Barack Obama on January 7, 2011. As a bill it was originally in the 111th Congress and later co-sponsored by Representative Ike Skelton as H.R. 6523 and renamed. The overall purpose of the law is to authorize funding for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad, for military construction, and for national security-related energy programs. Commitments includes setting aside $205 million for the Iron Dome short-range rocket defense system for the State of Israel. Section 806 dealt with supply chain risk management, allowing restrictions on information made available under relevant procurement exercises where requirements for the protection of national security applied.

Ike Skelton
Isaac Newton Skelton IV (December 20, 1931 – October 28, 2013) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the U.S. representative for from 1977 to 2011. During his tenure, he served as the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. He was a member of the Democratic Party. On November 2, 2010, he unexpectedly lost his seat to Republican Vicky Hartzler amid a Republican landslide. Notably, he was one of three Democratic committee chairmen to lose reelection in the 2010 midterm cycle, alongside House Budget Committee chairman John Spratt of South Carolina and House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee chairman Jim Oberstar of Minnesota. Iron Dome ( he, כִּפַּת בַּרְזֶל, Kippat Barzel) is a mobile all-weather air defense system developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries.
