UAE National Day ( ar, اليوم الوطني; ''Al Yawm Al Watani")'' is celebrated on 2 December each year in the United Arab Emirates. The seventh emirate, Ras al Khaimah, was added to the federation on 10 February 1972 making it the last emirate (state) to join. History The UAE National Day stands for the nationalisation of the British Protectorate Treaties, which were declared in 1968, and also falls on the anniversary of the federal unification of the six emirates (seven in 1972 after Ras Al Khaimah joined) in 1971 which combined to form the modern-day country, headed by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the federation's first president. Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa (; ar, برج خليفة, , Khalifa Tower), known as the Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration in 2010, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is known for being the world’s tallest building. With a total height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft, or just over half a mile) and a roof height (excluding antenna, but including a 242.6 m spire) of , the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009, supplanting Taipei 101, the previous holder of that status. Construction of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004, with the exterior completed five years later in 2009. Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (commonly abbreviated ADNEC) is an exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi. It was opened by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates on February 18, 2007. It was designed by the international architecture firm, RMJM. The venue is the largest exhibition centre in the Middle East with a total space of 153,678m2 indoor and outdoor space. ADNEC has a large seating capacity in its several locations in the venue. This includes, 12 interconnected exhibition halls, an atrium , concourse space, a 6000 capacity ICC, two conference halls as well 21 meeting rooms. Marina Hall, due to open in Autumn 2022, will be the largest hall of its kind in the region, a 10,000sqm space that enables organisers to create showcases both on and off the water. Downtown Dubai or The Dubai Downtown, is a large-scale, mixed-use complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Dubai Downtown was created by the Emaar Real Estate Development Company. Before 2000, the place was called Umm Al Tarif. It is home to some of the city's largest landmarks including Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, and The Dubai Fountain.
