National Center For Digitization
The National Center for Digitization (NCD) is a consortium composed of the most important leading Serbian (and former Yugoslav) cultural and scientific institutions, which analyse problems of digitization of cultural and scientific heritage. History The work on the foundation of the National Center for Digitization (NCD) in Serbia started in 2002, with the idea to form a consortium consisting of leading cultural and research institutions involved in digitization of heritage. South-Eastern European Digitization Initiative
The South-Eastern European Digitization Initiative (SEEDI) is an effort to develop awareness about digitization of cultural and scientific heritage in the South-Eastern European countries along the Lund Principles of the European Union. It will contribute to gathering and spreading specific and interdisciplinary knowledge from various institutions from the region and the European Union where leading experts in the field work. The Yugoslav Film Archive ( sr, Југословенска кинотека / Jugoslovenska kinoteka) is a film archive located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Founded in 1949, it is a founding member of the International Federation of Film Archives and was the national film library of the Yugoslavia and currently of Serbia. The main cinema operated by the Yugoslav Film Archive is named after Dušan Makavejev.
