Natheniel Arkley
Nathenial "Nath" Arkley (born 27 October 1994) is an Australian people, Australian Paralympic track and field athlete. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics, he won a bronze medal. Personal Arkley was born on 27 October 1994. He is a paraplegic as a result of the viral infection, transverse myelitis, he caught when he was eight years old. , he lives in St Agnes, South Australia. He attended St. Paul's College, Adelaide, St Pauls College in Gilles Plains. Athletics Arkley is a T54 (classification), T54 classified athlete. He has a special three carbon wheeled racing wheelchair. He has been coached by John Hammon since 2009. Arkley started competing in wheelchair athletics in 2005. Prior to his paraplegia, he participated in track at school. He first represented Australian in 2009. Jake Lappin
Jake Lappin (born 11 September 1992) is an Australian para-athlete competing as a wheelchair racer. He represented Australia at the London 2012 Summer Paralympics and at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. Personal Lappin was born on 11 September 1992 in Kilmore, Victoria. He races in the T54 category as a middle distance and long distance wheelchair racer. Athletics Lappin competes in the T54 classification, and specialises in the 400 metre and 800 metre wheelchair events. He is a member of the Glenhuntly Athletic Club. Lappin started racing in 2005. At the 2008 Adelaide's City-Bay fun run, he finished first in the wheelchair category with a time of 29:42 minutes. In 2010, he was ranked 17th in the world in the 800 metre race. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; german: Internationales Paralympisches Komitee) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports. T54 (classification)
T54 is a disability sport classification for disability athletics in the track and jump events. The class includes people with spinal cord injuries who compete using a wheelchair in track events. They have paraplegia, but have normal hand and arm function, normal or limited trunk function, and no leg function. This class includes CP-ISRA classes CP3 and CP4, and some athletes in ISOD classes A1, A2 and A3. Definition This classification is for track and jump events in disability athletics. This classification is one of several classifications for athletes with spinal cord injuries. Similar classifications are T51, T52 and T53.
