Nathaniel Hawthorne College
Nathaniel Hawthorne College, later Hawthorne College, was a nonprofit private liberal arts college in Antrim, New Hampshire. It opened in 1962. History Nathaniel Hawthorn College was a nonprofit private coeducational liberal arts college founded in 1962 by John Berrigan, Kenneth McLaughlin, and Joseph Whelton who purchased the property for the college. McLaughlin served as the college's president. The college had 100 students for its first semester in September 1962. Its enrollment was quickly boosted to as many as 700 students by men seeking to avoid the draft for the Vietnam War. The Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech or FIT) is a private research university in Melbourne, Florida. The university comprises four academic colleges: Engineering & Science, Aeronautics, Psychology & Liberal Arts, and Business. Approximately half of FIT's students are enrolled in the College of Engineering & Science. The university's 130-acre primary residential campus is near the Melbourne Orlando International Airport and the Florida Tech Research Park. Charles W
The F/V ''Charles W'', also known as Annie J Larsen, is a historic fishing schooner anchored in Petersburg, Alaska. At the time of its retirement in 2000, it was the oldest fishing vessel in the fishing fleet of Southeast Alaska, and the only known wooden fishing vessel in the entire state still in active service. Launched in 1907, she was first used in the halibut fisheries of Puget Sound and the Bering Sea as the ''Annie J Larsen''. In 1925 she was purchased by the Alaska Glacier Seafood Company, refitted for shrimp trawling, and renamed ''Charles W'' in honor of owner Karl Sifferman's father. The company was one of the pioneers of the local shrimp fishery, a business it began to phase out due to increasing competition in the 1970s. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks. Baldwin Molina Domingo (December 8, 1926 – May 4, 2020) was an American politician and educator. Domingo was born in Hamakuapoko, Maui County, Hawaii, to Braulio and Regina Domingo, and graduated from Maui High School. Domingo served in the United States Air Force and was commissioned a major. He received his bachelor's degrees from the University of the Philippines and Ohio State University. Domingo also received his master's degree from University of New Hampshire. He lived in Dover, New Hampshire, and taught military aviation history at Nathaniel Hawthorne College. Domingo served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2004 to 2012 as a Democrat. David Arseneault
David Michael Arseneault (born August 12, 1953) is a former college basketball head coach. He invented the Grinnell System, a run-and-gun style that he employed with the Grinnell Pioneers. He was also an associate professor of physical education on Grinnell's faculty. Arseneault's son, David Jr., who played under his father at Grinnell, later served on his staff and eventually succeeded him as Pioneers head coach. Early years Arseneault played college basketball at Colby College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Science in 1976. As a senior in 1975–76 at guard, Arseneault played 22 games and averaged 5.3 points. He then went to Canada and received a Master of Education from Brock University in 1985.
