Nathan Salsi
Nathan Salsi (born June 12, 1981 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American soccer player who last played for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL Second Division. On January 22, 2010 he was ranked 11th in the USL Second Division Top 15 of the Decade, which announced a list of the best and most influential players of the previous decade. Career Amateur Salsi grew up in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, attended Norwin High School, and played college soccer at the Duquesne University, where he was named to the Atlantic 10 First Team All Conference. Duquesne University
Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit ( or ; Duquesne University or Duquesne) is a private Catholic research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded by members of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, Duquesne first opened as the Pittsburgh Catholic College of the Holy Ghost in October 1878 with an enrollment of 40 students and a faculty of six. In 1911, the college became the first Catholic university-level institution in Pennsylvania. It is the only Spiritan institution of higher education in the world. Norwin High School
Norwin High School is a public high school located in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, with a current enrollment of about 1,600 students in grades 9-12. It enrolls students from North Huntingdon Township, Irwin, and North Irwin. It is part of the Norwin School District. History In 1914, the Township of North Huntingdon, and the borough of Irwin and North Irwin signed a Jointure, combining the three schools. The original high school (now Queen of Angels Catholic School) was built in 1916, and was named Norwin Union High School. An Annex was added to the building in 1937, which survives today.
