Nathan Mullins
Nathan Mullins (born 1989/90) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Vincents and also, formerly, the Donegal county team. Early life Nathan Mullins is the youngest of three sons fathered by former Dublin midfielder Brian Mullins. When Mullins Snr was made principal of Carndonagh Community School in 1991, the family moved to Inishowen, where they lived for a decade. They then returned to Dublin, though one of Mullins Jnr's brothers later moved to Clonmany and Mullins Jnr maintained links with his adopted county. Playing career Jim McGuinness was aware of this and persuaded Mullins to move north-west in 2011. Mullins played for the Donegal under-21 team. He sustained numerous injuries early in his career, including hamstring issues and breaking both legs, so did not make much progress with his club St Vincents until he was aged 26. St Vincents GAA
St Vincents is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Marino, on the northside of Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1931 in Marino, instrumental in the founding of the club were Rev Dr William Fitzpatrick (St Vincent de Paul Church, Marino) and Bro. Ernest Fitzgerald (Scoil Mhuire CBS, Marino). Although its club grounds were in Raheny for a number of years, it moved to its home back into Marino in 1987. St Vincents merged with Marino Camogie Club in 1997 to form the St Vincents Hurling, Football and Camogie Club. They have won the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship on three occasions, most recently in 2014. They are the most successful side in the Dublin Senior Football championship having won the title 29 times. Highland Radio
Highland Radio is the local radio service for the County Donegal (North) franchise, operating under a licence from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI). Headquartered at the Mountain Top in Letterkenny, the station broadcasts throughout a large swathe of Ulster (especially West Ulster), with it being received in the nearby city of Derry and in much of the rest of County Londonderry, as well as in large parts of County Tyrone and County Fermanagh, and in parts of County Antrim. Ballyshannon
Ballyshannon () is a town in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located at the southern end of the county where the N3 from Dublin ends and the N15 crosses the River Erne. Incorporated in 1613, it is one of the oldest towns in Ireland. Location Ballyshannon, which means "the mouth of Seannach's ford", after a fifth-century warrior, Seannach, who was slain there, lies at the mouth of the river Erne. Niall O'Donnell
Niall O'Donnell (born 1998) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Eunan's and the Donegal county team. The ''Irish Independents Colm Keys named O'Donnell among his "18 for 08: The brightest young talents" in Gaelic football, describing him as "both elusive and skilful". He is the younger brother of Conor O'Donnell Snr, the eldest of the St Eunan's Conor O'Donnells. Education O'Donnell attended St Eunan's College, where he played for the school team. Croke Park
Croke Park ( ga, Páirc an Chrócaigh, ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, it is referred to as Croker by GAA fans and locals. It serves as both the principal national stadium of Ireland and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Since 1891 the site has been used by the GAA to host Gaelic sports, including the annual All-Ireland in Gaelic football and hurling. Raheny GAA
Raheny GAA (Irish: ''CLG Rath Éanna'' ), founded 1958, is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Raheny, Dublin. History The club was established in 1958, and was at first one of two clubs in the area, though the other, St Vincent's, with grounds at The Oval in central Raheny, served a different catchment. Raheny were the 2007 Dublin Intermediate Hurling Championship after they defeated Ballyboden St Endas by 0–16 to 0–12 at O'Toole Park. Raheny last won the intermediate championship in 1970. Brian Fenton
Brian Fenton (born 2 March 1994) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Raheny club and for the Dublin county team. He was the 2018 and 2020 All Stars Footballer of the Year. Education and family His father (Brian senior), is from Spa, outside Killarney. The family home is in Raheny. Initially training as a physiotherapist, Fenton studied for a Masters in Business Management so that he could embark on a new career selling hospital and clinic equipment as a medical sales representative with Tekno Surgical. He bought his own house in Killester. After the five-in-row, Fenton went on holiday to Marbella with his girlfriend for a few days. Hugh McFadden (Gaelic Footballer)
Hugh McFadden is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Na Cealla Beaga and the Donegal county team. He can operate at midfield or full-forward. He is Donegal's vice-captain, when Michael Murphy is absent. As a youth he played association football. Early life McFadden played association football for St Catherine's. At the age of "16 or 17" he signed for League of Ireland team Finn Harps. He then signed a one-year scholarship with another League of Ireland team, Sligo Rovers, Rovers having won the 2012 League of Ireland Premier Division. According to McFadden, there was interest in him from other League of Ireland clubs too.
