Nathan Moore (English Musician)
Nathan Marcellus Moore (born 10 January 1965, Stamford Hill, London, England) is an English-Indonesian singer and manager. Career First coming to prominence by joining the boyband Brother Beyond as their lead singer, in 1987 (when the band and their record label won an auction to sound recording and reproduction, record a song, track with the successful 1980s record producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman), Moore was subsequently in the line-up of another boyband, Worlds Apart (boyband), Worlds Apart, that became record chart, chart Celebrity, stars in France, Moore & the band had hits with songs such as – Je Te Donne, Quand Je Reve De Toi, Everlasting Love, Baby Come Back & Everybody – each single reaching No2 chart position in France! in 1997 the album Everybody became the 3rd best selling album that year and is in the all-time biggest sellers ever in that country. Stamford Hill
Stamford Hill is an area in Inner London, England, about 5.5 miles north-east of Charing Cross. The neighbourhood is a sub-district of Hackney, the major component of the London Borough of Hackney, and is known for its Hasidic community, the largest concentration of Hasidic Jews in Europe. The district takes its name from the eponymous hill, which reaches a height of 33m AOD, and the originally Roman A10 also takes the name "Stamford Hill", as it makes its way through the area. The hill is believed to be named after the ford where the A10 crossed the Hackney Brook on the southern edge of the hill. Sanford and Saundfordhill are referred to in documents from the 1200s, and mean "sand Ford". Roque's map of 1745 shows a bridge, which replaced the ford, referred to as "Stamford Bridge". ''Hit Me, Baby, One More Time'' is a television entertainment show first broadcast on the British television network ITV and later, as a new version, by NBC in the United States; both were presented by Vernon Kay. During each programme, five former pop stars sing their biggest hit along with a cover version of a contemporary hit. Each week one winner is picked from each show by a phone vote (in the British version) or a studio-audience vote (in the American version), leading to the grand final when the overall winner can release a single featuring both songs (in the British version) or have $20,000 donated to a charity of their choice (in the American version). Majorca
Mallorca, or Majorca, is the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean. ''The Voice UK'' is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The fourth series started on 10 January 2015. Emma Willis and Marvin Humes return as hosts, alongside coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Ricky Wilson. Kylie Minogue did not return due to touring commitments and was replaced by Rita Ora. On 4 April 2015, Stevie McCrorie was announced the winner of the season making him the first winner to have received an all-chair turn in the blind auditions. James Fox (singer)
James Richard Mullett (born 6 April 1976), known professionally as James Fox, is a Welsh pop singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. He represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul. In 2008 he wrote and recorded the Cardiff City F.C. FA Cup Final song, "Bluebirds Flying High". Biography Fox was born in Cardiff and grew up in Gilfach, Bargoed, in the Rhymney Valley, a former mining community in south-east Wales. Inspired by his musician father, Richard, Fox took piano lessons from the age of six, and later taught himself to play guitar, the drums, harmonica and mandolin. Scooch
Scooch is a British pop group, comprising performers Natalie Powers, Caroline Barnes, David Ducasse and Russ Spencer. Scooch represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with their song "Flying the Flag (For You)", finishing joint 22nd out of 24 entries after receiving 19 points in the final. The song reached number 5 in the UK Top 40 Singles Chart on 13 May 2007 after having been available for download for two months before that. Fast Food Rockers
Fast Food Rockers were a British pop music, pop group known briefly for their novelty music. The band met at a fast-food convention in Folkestone in the summer of 2003. Career Their most successful hit was their 2003 release "Fast Food Song", which parodies the traditional folk music, folk melody "A Ram Sam Sam". The Dutch DJ Eric Dikeb claims to have made a Dutch song out of that traditional melody in 2001, called "Pizzahaha", explaining that at that moment, he was taking part in the Dutch television show ''Big Diet'', in which contestants had to lose as much weight as they could over a few months. Dikeb further claims to have come up with the idea to use the names of his favourite fast-food restaurants in the song. Pizzahaha did not make it to the Dutch charts, but in Belgium the band Dynamite made a big hit out of it, with a Belgian version called "De Pizzadans". Boys Will Be Girls
The Honeytraps was the 'girl band' featured in the 2006 reality TV show ''Boys Will Be Girls'', aired on E4. The programme starting by auditioning male singers (who'd all been in bands before) for a brand new band, to be managed by Olivier Behzadi - ex - Head of A&R Sony Music Intl and Nathan Moore, ex-lead singer of Brother Beyond. It was only once the final four had been selected that the twist was revealed. They were being given the task of trying to pass themselves off as a girl band. One of the four (Marvin Humes of former group VS, now JLS) backed out at this point and was not replaced. At the end of the series, the band recorded a cover version of the A Flock of Seagulls' track, "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)", which was never released in the stores, but reached a respectable #23 on the UK Download Chart in May 2006.
