Nathan Jones (Australian Footballer)
Nathan Jones (born 20 January 1988) is a former Australian rules footballer known for playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League. He is the older brother of player Zak Jones. He served as the captain of Melbourne from 2014 until he stepped down at the end of the 2019 season. Early life Jones played for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup during his junior career and was selected to play for Vic Metro in the 2005 AFL Under-18 Championships. He was named in the 2005 Under-18 All-Australian team as a follower. He played in the TAC Cup Grand Final (now known as NAB League Boys) for Dandenong in 2005 and collected 36 disposals; however, they were defeated by 15 points by Gippsland Power. Nathan Jones (born 21 August 1969) is an Australian actor, powerlifting champion, strongman and former professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE. He held the WWA World Heavyweight Championship once in World Wrestling All-Stars, and aligned himself with The Undertaker in World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown brand. Early life Jones was born in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Before his career as a wrestler, Jones was sentenced to 16 years in 1987 at the age of 18 to Boggo Road Gaol for eight armed robberies between 1985 and 1987, two of which occurred in Tasmania. During the robberies, he became one of Australia's most wanted and ended up serving seven years in a maximum-security prison. Nathan Jason Jones (born 28 May 1973) is a Welsh professional football manager most recently for club Southampton. He is also a former player who played as a left back or midfielder. Jones began his career with Football Conference club Merthyr Tydfil before joining Luton Town in the summer of 1995. He became homesick at Luton so took an opportunity to move to Spain with Badajoz and then Numancia and returned to England with Southend United in 1997. Jones spent three seasons at Roots Hall which included a brief loan spell with Scarborough in 1999. He moved on to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2000 and was part of the team that won three promotions in five years.
