Nathan Eyres-Brown
Nathan Eyres-Brown (born 23 May 1989) is an Australian rugby union footballer. His usual position is fullback or wing. He played for the Australian Sevens team in 2009, and played Super Rugby for the Queensland Reds in 2012. In 2013, he played fly-half for Romanian Superliga side Farul Constanţa. Early life and junior career Born on Queensland's Gold Coast, Eyres-Brown started his career playing rugby league. At age 15, he joined the Canterbury Bulldogs development squad alongside Esi Tonga and Chris Sandow. In 2005, Eyres-Brown gained a scholarship at The Southport School (TSS), where he played flyhalf during his first season. He made the Queensland Under-16 squad for rugby union in 2005 as a utility back, and played in the national competition at inside centre due to an injury to Matt To'omua. Esikeli Tonga (born 5 February 1988) is a former Tonga international rugby league footballer who last previously played for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. A Tongan international representative three-quarter or second-rower, he is the younger brother of Parramatta Eels centre Willie Tonga. Background Tonga was born in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. Western Force
The Western Force is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Perth, Western Australia, currently competing in Super Rugby Pacific. They previously played in Super Rugby from 2006 until they were axed from the competition in 2017. Following their axing they played in the National Rugby Championship in 2018 and 2019, replacing the Perth Spirit, and Global Rapid Rugby from 2018 to 2020, an Indo-Pacific competition organised by Andrew Forrest. The Bulls, for sponsorship reasons known as the Vodacom Bulls, is a South African professional rugby union team based in Pretoria and they play their home matches at Loftus Versfeld. They compete in the United Rugby Championship, having competed in the Super Rugby competition until 2020. Benjamin Lucas (born 30 December 1987) is an Australian rugby union player who used to play for Montpellier as a fly-half in the Top 14. Career Educated at Robertson State School, then St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace Lucas is a former Australian schoolboy representative. Mike Harris (rugby Union)
Michael Harris (born 8 July 1988) is a professional rugby union football player for Pau in the Top 14. He has also been capped ten times for Australia. Harris began his career in 2007 with North Harbour in New Zealand's ITM Cup before moving to Australia in 2011. He played for the Queensland Reds and Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby and then joined French club Lyon for two seasons from late 2016. He moved to Japan for the 2018–19 season. 2012 Super Rugby Season
The 2012 Super Rugby season was the second season of the current 15-team format for the Super Rugby competition, which involves teams from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Southport Tigers
Initially formed as the Southport Football Club the Southport Tigers compete in both the junior and senior Gold Coast Rugby League competitions. The club is based at Owen Park in Southport, Queensland, Australia. History There has been a long history of Southport being represented in Rugby league dating back to the 1930s. They were then known as the Southport Wanderers. In 1931, the Southport Wanderers were the A Grade undefeated Premiers winning the Plunket Cup in that year. The Southport Wanderers Football Club A Grade side were the South Coast League Premiers and winners of the Mathias Cup in 1939. Burleigh Bears
The Burleigh Bears are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Gold Coast, Australia. They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. The Brisbane Rugby League (otherwise known as the CAOS BRL Premier A Grade due to sponsorship purposes; formerly known as the Quest Cup, Mixwell Cup, FOGS Cup and In Safe Hands Cup) is a ten-team competition, expanded from a six-team competition in 2020.
