Nate Miller (boxer)
Nate Miller (born August 3, 1963) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1986 to 2001. Professional career He turned pro in 1986 and in 1994 landed a shot at IBF Cruiserweight Title holder Al Cole, Alfred Cole, but lost a decision. In 1995 he scored a KO victory over Orlin Norris to win the WBA Cruiserweight Title, his first defense was against Argentine boxer Reynaldo Gimenez. Miller defended the title four times in total before losing the belt to Fabrice Tiozzo in 1997. He retired in 2001 after losses to Norris, Thomas Hearns, and Vincenzo Rossitto. Tyrone Booze
Tyrone Booze (born February 12, 1959) is an American retired boxer who held the WBO cruiserweight championship from 1992 to 1993. Booze became a professional boxer in 1982 and had mixed success during his early career. He had early losses in the 1980s to Evander Holyfield, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Johnny DuPlooy, Bert Cooper, Dwight Braxton (to be known as Dwight Muhammad Qawi), and Henry Tillman. In 1990 he lost to Nate Miller for the North American Boxing Federation cruiserweight title by a unanimous decision. After winning one fight he then challenged Magne Havnaa in 1991 for the WBO cruiserweight title. He lost a twelve-round split decision. When Havnaa relinquished his title, Booze knocked out Derek Angol on July 25, 1992 at G-Mex Centre, Manchester, England to win the vacant WBO title. Dwight Muhammad Qawi (born Dwight Braxton; January 5, 1953) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1978 to 1998. He was a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBC and ''Ring'' magazine light heavyweight titles from 1981 to 1983, and the WBA cruiserweight title from 1985 to 1986. Qawi was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004. Early life Qawi, then known as Dwight Braxton, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but grew up in Camden, New Jersey, where he got involved with crime at a young age. He was eventually convicted of armed robbery and spent around five years in prison. It was in Rahway State Prison that Braxton found his place in life.
