Nate Holley
Nate Holley (born December 5, 1994) is an American football safety for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (USFL). Holley played high school football at Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio. He played NCAA football at Kent State. He has also been a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Nebraska Danger, Los Angeles Rams, and Calgary Stampeders. College career Holley played four seasons at Kent State, appearing in 43 games for the Golden Flashes, contributing with 424 tackles, three sacks and one interception. He finished his collegiate career in the top 10 on the Golden Flashes’ all-time tackles list. During his senior season, he led the nation with an average of 8.9 solo tackles per game. For his career, he had 426 total tackles including 15 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles and seven pass breakups. Safety (American And Canadian Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme.
