Nate Collins
Nathaniel Allen Collins (born December 14, 1987) is a former American football defensive tackle. He has played for the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars, after originally signing as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants. He played college football at the University of Virginia. Professional career Jacksonville Jaguars Collins was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 13, 2010. He played in one game in 2010 and 12 games during the 2011 season. He scored a touchdown in 2011 on a fumble recovery against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In February 2012, a Virginia state trooper arrested Collins and charged him with the possession of a small amount of marijuana. Less than a month later, the Jaguars rescinded the exclusive rights free agent tender placed on Collins, making him an unrestricted free agent, free to sign with any team. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Victor Cruz (American Football)
Victor Michael Cruz (born November 11, 1986) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at UMass, and signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2010. With the Giants, he won Super Bowl XLVI over the New England Patriots, and made the 2012 Pro Bowl. Early years Cruz was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on November 11, 1986 to Blanca Cruz and Michael Walker, a firefighter. His father was African American and his mother is Puerto Rican. Cruz's father died by suicide in 2007. Cruz attended Paterson Catholic High School in Paterson. He completed a post-graduate semester at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine.
