Nate Brooks (American Football)
Nate Brooks (born September 5, 1996) is an American football cornerback for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at North Texas and signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers. Birmingham Stallions (2022) Players
The Birmingham Stallions were a franchise in the United States Football League, an attempt to establish a second professional league of American football in the United States in competition with the National Football League. They played their home games at Birmingham, Alabama's Legion Field. They competed in all three USFL seasons, 1983–1985. During their run, they were one of the USFL's more popular teams, and seemed to have a realistic chance of being a viable venture had the USFL been better run. The owner was Cincinnati financier and Birmingham native Marvin Warner. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB).
