Natalya Orlova
Natalia Orlova (russian: Наталья Алексеевна Орлова; born 29 August 1969, Rubtsovsk, Altai Krai) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 8th State Duma. In 2004, Orlova was appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Financial and Economic Support of the Central Executive Committee of the All-Russian Political Party United Russia. From 2012 to 2021, she served as the First Deputy Head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party. She was an authorized representative for financial matters of the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in the elections of 2004, 2008, 2012, 2018. The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 8th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации восьмого созыва) is the current convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament. The composition of the 8th State Duma was determined based on the results of the 2021 legislative election. Elections were held using a mixed system: 225 deputies were elected on party lists and 225 — in single-member constituencies. Of the 14 parties that participated in the elections, only 5 were able to overcome the 5% barrier. And for the first time since 1999, more than four parties were able to form their own factions.
