Natalie Schneider (born February 11, 1983) is an American wheelchair basketball player from Crete, Nebraska Career She won her first gold medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics and got the second one at the North American Cup same year. In 2010, she won gold medal at IWBF World Championship. She represented the United States at the 2022 Wheelchair Basketball World Championships The 2022 Wheelchair Basketball World Championships were held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 8 to 20 June 2023. Crete, Nebraska
Crete is a city in Saline County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 7,099 at the 2020 census. History The railroad was extended to the area in 1870, bringing settlers. In 1871, two rival towns merged to form a new town, which was named after Crete, Illinois, the former hometown of an early settler. The name was also chosen to conform with the alphabetical stops on the new Burlington & Quincy Railroad line traveling westward from Lincoln: Berks, Crete, Dorchester, Exeter, Fairmont, Grafton, Huxley, etc. Crete was once a contender for county seat.
