Natalia Todorovska
Natalija Todorovska, née Natalia Malakhova (born 7 July 1974) is a Russian and then Macedonian handball player. After playing many years for the Volgograd Akva, she went to the Macedonian Champions club Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje in 2001. Awarded as the best right wing of the 1997 World Championship with Russia, she lately played for the Macedonian team. At the 2005 World Championship, she scored 21 goals against Cameroon and at the 2008 European Women's Handball Championship she finished the fifth top goalscorer. European Handball Federation
The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. In 2012 the EHF Office celebrated 20 years since it first opened its doors. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. Dinamo Volgograd (russian: Динамо Волгоград) is a Russian women's handball club from Volgograd. Founded in 1972 as Burevestnik Volgograd, it represented Rotor Volgograd following the collapse of the Soviet Union and was subsequently named Aqva before taking its current name in 2003. Dynamo is the most successful team in the Russian Super League with nine titles, and in the 2001-02 season it set a record winning all the matches. WHC Gjorche Petrov ( mk, Ракометен Клуб Ѓорче Петров) is a female Team handball, handball club based in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1979 under the name ''Women's Handball Club Gjorče Petrov''. Kometal Gjorče Petrov stopped its work on 16 September 2011 when the central committee decided that there was no conditions for operation and existence. After a while the club started to work again.It was shut for couple of years but it started working again, without its brand-mark Kometal. The 1997 World Women's Handball Championship took place in Germany 30 November – 14 December 1997. It was the first tournament with 24 teams. Denmark won its first title. Denmark's only defeat in the championship was by Macedonia. Russia Women's National Handball Team
The Russia women's national handball team is the national team of Russia. It is governed by the Handball Union of Russia and took part in international handball competitions. The North Macedonia women's national handball team is the women's national handball team of North Macedonia. It is governed by the Macedonian Handball Federation and takes part in international team handball competitions.
