Natalia Sheludiakova
Natalia Sheludiakova is a lecturer and concert performer, currently teaching at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Biography Natalia Sheludiakova studied piano in Moscow with Professor Oleg Boshniakovich at the Gnessin Institute. In 1981 she won the All-Russian Chamber Music Competition in Leningrad and was awarded the coveted prize for the best accompanist in the 1988 and 1989 All-Soviet Cello Competitions. She has accompanied cellists proficiently in the Tchaikovsky competition and performed as a chamber musician with many acclaimed artists including Igor Oistrakh (violin), Victor Simon (Principal Cello, Bolshoi), Douglas Cummings (Principal Cello, LSO), Anthony Camden (Oboe), Yuri Semenov (Principal Cello, Moscow Symphony), Dimitri Jablonsky (cello) and Alexander Kniazev (cello). Sydney Conservatorium Of Music
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music (formerly the New South Wales State Conservatorium of Music and known by the moniker "The Con") is a heritage-listed music school in Macquarie Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious music schools in Australia. Located adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens on the eastern fringe of the Sydney central business district, the conservatorium is a faculty of the University of Sydney, and incorporates the community-based Conservatorium Open Academy and the Conservatorium High School. Ronald Thomas (cellist)
Ronald Thomas (born 1954) is an American cellist known for his work as a soloist and chamber musician. Thomas has made guest appearances with some of the world's finest orchestras including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Handel and Haydn Society, the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, and the Blossom Festival Orchestra among others. He has played recitals in nearly every state including performances in the cities of New York City, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, and Los Angeles. Francis Poulenc
Francis Jean Marcel Poulenc (; 7 January 189930 January 1963) was a French composer and pianist. His compositions include songs, solo piano works, chamber music, choral pieces, operas, ballets, and orchestral concert music. Among the best-known are the piano suite '' Trois mouvements perpétuels'' (1919), the ballet ''Les biches'' (1923), the ''Concert champêtre'' (1928) for harpsichord and orchestra, the Organ Concerto (1938), the opera ''Dialogues des Carmélites'' (1957), and the '' Gloria'' (1959) for soprano, choir, and orchestra. As the only son of a prosperous manufacturer, Poulenc was expected to follow his father into the family firm, and he was not allowed to enrol at a music college. Largely self-educated musically, he studied with the pianist Ricardo Viñes, who became his mentor after the composer's parents died.
