Nasirul Islam Nasir ( bn, নাসিরুল ইসলাম নাসির; born 10 August 1988) is a retired Bangladeshi professional association football, footballer who plays as a Right Back (association football), right back. He last played for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the Bangladesh Premier League (football), Bangladesh Premier League. He played for the Bangladesh national football team, Bangladesh national team from 2009 to 2016. He is regarded as one of the best Fullback (association football), offensive fullbacks the country has produced. International career In 2003, Nasir played both legs as Bangladesh national under-17 football team, Bangladesh U17 defeated Kyrgyzstan national under-17 football team, Kyrgyzstan 3–0 to qualify for the 2004 AFC U-17 Championship. Chapainawabganj (Bengali: চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ) is located in the north-western part of Bangladesh. It is a part of the Rajshahi Division, and was formerly a sub-division of Malda district. Bangladesh Super Cup
Super Cup is the highest-budgeted football competition organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation and is one of the two club football season cups in Bangladesh, the other being Federation Cup. It started in 2009. The tournament is currently sponsored by Grameenphone. History The competition kicked off for the first time on Wednesday, 11 March 2009 inaugurated by Citycell's Chief Executive Officer Michel Seamour and the Federation's president Kazi Salahuddin in which Mohammedan Sporting Club became the first champion beating arch-rival Abahani Limited. The prize money for the tournament was $150,000 which is said to be a record in Asia. Federation Cup (Bangladesh)
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. 2021 SAFF Championship
The 2021 SAFF Championship, known as Ooredoo SAFF Championship 2021 for sponsorship reasons, was the thirteenth edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organised by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Initially, it was decided to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, but was postponed to September 2021 in Bangladesh. However, the tournament was postponed again to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Maldives as host. Host selection On 11 April 2018, SAFF decided to allow Pakistan to host the tournament after the restoration of Pakistan Football Federation's membership by FIFA and since then it would be country's first international football tournaments. Óscar Bruzón
Óscar Bruzón Barreras (born 29 May 1977) is a retired Spanish footballer who played as either a winger or a defensive midfielder, and currently managing Bashundhara Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League. Playing career Bruzón was born in Vigo, Galicia. A Colegio Apóstol alumni, he moved to CD Areosa before joining Tercera División side Gran Peña FC. After finishing his first and only campaign as a starter, he moved to Celta de Vigo and was assigned to the reserves also in the fourth division. 2010 AFC Challenge Cup
The 2010 AFC Challenge Cup was the third edition of the tournament which was held from 16–27 February 2010 in Sri Lanka. India, the defending champions, fielded their under-23 team for this tournament in preparation for the 2010 Asian Games later that year. The champions, North Korea, qualified for the 2011 Asian Cup. Football At The 2010 Asian Games
Football at the 2010 Asian Games was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China from 7 to 25 November 2010. The opening match was played 5 days prior to the opening ceremony. In this tournament, 24 teams played in the men's competition, and 7 teams participated in women's competition. Age limit for the men teams was under-23, same as the age limit in football competitions in Olympic Games, while three overage players are allowed among each squad. Shahidur Rahman Chowdhury ( bn, শহীদুর রহমান চৌধুরী; born 17 November 1947), known by his nickname Shantoo, is a former Bangladeshi football player and manager. Club career In 1966, after giving his SSC examination in Rangpur, he moved to Dhaka. His football career started the same year for Azad Sporting Club in the Dhaka League, after impressing Azad coach Ranjit Das. However, before playing domestic football in Dhaka, he played in the inter-district team for Rangpur and the divisional team for Rajshahi, where his team reached the district final against Dhaka.
