Nasirabad Government High School
Nasirabad Government High School (NGHS) ( bn, নাসিরাবাদ সরকারী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a government-run high school in Bangladesh. It is managed by a committee and is situated in the East Nasirabad area in Chittagong - a port city and the country's second largest city. It's an all-boys school with approximately 3000 students. Educational activities are conducted across two shifts. The school was ranked 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 4th in SSC (Secondary School Certificate) exams in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively. Souls (band)
Souls is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Chittagong in 1972. History In 1972, singer Tajul Imam, guitarists Sajedul Alam and Momtazul Hoque Lulu, bassist Subrata Barua Ronny, and drummer/keyboardist Ahmed Newaz formed Souls. In 1982, Naseem Ali Khan and Ayub Bachchu joined. The band started writing and composing their own songs while performing cover songs of western bands in hotels. In 1982, they released their debut album, ''Super Souls'', which was one of the first albums released by a music group in Bangladesh, along with the debut album of the band Shocking Blue. The album features the song " Mon Shudhu Mon Chuyeche", written and composed by Naquib Khan and Tapan Chowdhury on the vocals of the song. The Kumar Bishwajit song " Torey Putuler Moto Kore Shajiye" is a Souls track from their debut album. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), Matriculation examination, is a public examination in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan conducted by educational boards for the successful completion of the secondary education exam in these countries. Students of 10th grade/class ten can appear in these. It is equivalent to GCSE in England and first two years of high schools in United States. Rover Scouts, Rovers, Rover Scouting or Rovering is a program associated with some Scouting organizations for adult men and women. A group of Rovers is called a 'Rover Crew'. Rovers was originated by The Boy Scouts Association in the United Kingdom in 1918 to provide a program for young men who had grown up beyond the age range of the Boy Scouts. BNCC
The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) is a tri-services volunteer reserve force comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force for school, college and university students. Students are trained by military staffs and personnel all through the cadet ship. BNCC remains high value on the public-military relationship in the society. Mohammad Akram Hussain Khan ( bn, মোহাম্মদ আকরাম হুসেইন খান; born 1 November 1968) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer. A hard hitting middle order batsman, Akram played first-class cricket for Chittagong Division. He is currently the chief selector of the BCB, along with Habibul Bashar and Minhajul Abedin. Aftab Ahmed Chowdhury ( bn, আফতাব আহেমদ চৌধুরী, born 10 November 1985) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He is a right hand batsman and right arm medium bowler. In August 2014, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket after 2014/15 domestic season to focus on coaching.
