Nash is a village and also a civil parish within the unitary authority area of Buckinghamshire, England. It is in the north of the county, about south-west of Milton Keynes and east of Buckingham. According to the 2011 census, the population total of Nash was 417. History The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means "at the ash-tree". In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as ''Esse''. The name went through 'Ash' and 'La Nash' to 'Nash'. Aeign Zackrey Nash Victoriano Aguas (; born October 10, 1998), known professionally as Nash Aguas, is a Filipino actor, businessman/entrepreneur, real-estate investor, and politician. Career At the age of five, Aguas made his television debut on the noontime variety show '' MTB'', after joining the program's ''Batang F4'' contest. Charlie (Street Fighter)
is a fictional character in the ''Street Fighter'' video game series. He was first mentioned in 1991's '' Street Fighter II: The World Warrior'', in which he is established to be a deceased friend of Guile who was killed by M. Bison prior to the events of the game's tournament. He made his first appearance as a playable fighter in 1995's '' Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams'', although he has appeared in ''Street Fighter'' related media with varying character designs prior to debuting in the games. He is characterized as a member of the United States Air Force charged with finding M. Bison, and destroying his organization Shadaloo. James Jeffrey "Jeff" Plewman (March 26, 1948 – May 10, 2014), better known by his stage name Nash the Slash, was a Canadian musician. A multi-instrumentalist, he was known primarily for playing the electric violin and mandolin, as well as the harmonica, keyboards, glockenspiel, and other instruments (sometimes described as "devices" on album notes). Nash worked as a solo artist beginning in 1975; founding the progressive rock band FM in 1976. Soon after releasing the band's first album, ''Black Noise'', in 1977, he left the band; he resumed his solo career in 1978 (it was not until after Nash's departure that the album was widely promoted, eventually charting and receiving a gold record award). Nash Nicks Winstead (June 12, 1925 - October 18, 2008) was an American academic. Early life and education He was born in Durham County, North Carolina, in 1925 and educated at North Carolina State College, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy in 1948 and a Master of Science degree in plant pathology in 1951. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, located in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1953. Career Winstead joined the N.C. State faculty as an assistant professor in 1953. In 1965, he was appointed director of the Institute of Biological Sciences and assistant director of agricultural experiment stations at N.C. State. Nash Turner
Nash Turner (1881–1937) was an American Hall of Fame jockey who competed in Thoroughbred horse racing in the United States and France. A native of Texas, Nash Turner began his professional riding career in 1895 and by 1900 was one of the top ten jockeys in the United States. Although he is best remembered as the jockey of the U.S. Racing Hall of Fame filly, Imp, Nash Turner rode Ildrim to victory in the 1900 Belmont Stakes and captured the first two runnings of the Saratoga Special. In France Nash Turner moved to race in France at the invitation of friend and Thoroughbred owner/trainer Eugene Leigh for whom he had won numerous races in the United States including the Belmont Stakes. Nash Charles Roberts Jr. (April 13, 1918 – December 18, 2010) was a New Orleans, Louisiana-based meteorologist widely known for the accuracy of his hurricane forecasts. He began his career in weather during World War II. He worked for Admiral Chester Nimitz in the Pacific. Roberts was on the first plane to enter the eye of a tropical system near the Philippines. This method is still used today by the "Hurricane Hunters" of the Air Force based at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi to measure and record internal conditions in hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean to help predict their development and path. Urge Overkill is an American alternative rock band, formed in Chicago, Illinois, United States, consisting of Nathan Kaatrud, who took the stage name Nash Kato (vocals/guitar), and Eddie "King" Roeser (vocals/guitar/bass guitar). They are widely known for their song "Sister Havana" and their cover of Neil Diamond's "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon", which was notably used in Quentin Tarantino's ''Pulp Fiction''. Alfred Nash Higgins (February 29, 1896 – October 29, 1984) was an American football and track and field coach as well as athletic director, the first in the history of the University of Tampa. He later worked as superintendent of recreation for the Hillsborough County Defense Council and the county's school department athletic facilities planner. Sir Nash Grose (1740-1814), was an English judge. Grose was the son of Edward Grose of London, and was born in 1740. He went to Cambridge University, became a fellow of Trinity Hall, and took the degree of LL.B. in 1768. He was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in November 1766, and became serjeant-at-law in 1774.
