Naseer Ahmed Khan Tareen
Sardar Naseer Ahmad Khan Tareen The Markhor hero of Balochistan ( 1936-2020) was a well-known Pashtuns, Pashtun tribal chieftain, and a social activist and public philanthropist from Baluchistan, Pakistan. Background Naseer Khan was the head, or chief, of a section or clan of the Tareen (or Tarin) Pashtun tribe. Public service projects Among the various well-known projects for public benefit founded and run by Tareen, are the BRSP (Balochistan Rural Support Programme) and the TWCP Torghar Wildlife Conservation Project for wild life of Markhor. In 2013 the BRSP was given a special award for dedicated public service in Baluchistan area, or province, of Pakistan. Balochistan Rural Support Programme
Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP) was a project funded by the German technical cooperation agency Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the early 1980s which was converted into the Balochistan Rural Support Programme in 1991. It is a Non Government Organization (NGO), part of the Rural Support Programmes Network, working in rural areas of Balochistan, Pakistan. In the mid-1990s, BRSP worked in 13 Districts of Balochistan with 250 staff members; however, it had to scale down its operations substantially in the subsequent years as GIZ withdrew its support. BRSP resumed its operations in 2001 with financial support from Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). Torghar Wildlife Conservation Project
Torghar District ( ps, تور غر ولسوالۍ, ur, ) formerly also known as Kala Dhaka ( hnd, ) is the smallest district in Pakistan of Abaseen Division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It was officially separated from Mansehra District in 2011 under Article 246 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
