Milton Nascimento (; born October 26, 1942), also known as Bituca, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has toured across the world. Nascimento has won five Grammy Awards, including Best World Music Album for his album Nascimento in 1998. Biography Milton Nascimento was born in Rio de Janeiro. His mother, Maria Nascimento, was a maid. As a baby, Nascimento was adopted by a couple who were his mother's former employers; Josino Brito Campos, a bank employee, mathematics teacher and electronic technician and Lília Silva Campos, a music teacher and choir singer. When he was 18 months old, Nascimento's biological mother died, and he moved with his adoptive parents to the city of Três Pontas, in the state of Minas Gerais. Alfredo José Henriques Nascimento (born 5 May 1937), known as Nascimento, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Montijo, Portugal, Nascimento arrived at 22 to C.F. Os Belenenses, being back-up to José Pereira, but playing most games in 1963–64. He joined S.L. Benfica in the following year, with Costa Pereira having physical problems, he replaced him in a winning league campaign in 1966–67. However, the rapid ascension of Zé Gato, stalled his career at Benfica, so he moved to União de Tomar in 1970 and retired four years later, age 37. Rui António da Cruz Ferreira (born 22 March 1960), known as Nascimento, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a central midfielder, and a current manager. Club career Born in Leiria, Nascimento made his professional debuts with local União Desportiva in 1979, after playing his youth football and starting his senior career in France. He consolidated himself as a Primeira Liga player in the following seven seasons, playing with Vitória de Setúbal (three years) and Vitória de Guimarães (four), always as first-choice and scoring nearly 30 overall goals. At the age of 29, Nascimento signed with FC Porto, winning the only title of his career, the national championship, but he only collected 13 appearances in a total of 542 minutes.
