Nasbandi
''Nasbandi'' is a 1978 Bollywood satirical film directed by I. S. Johar, it starred duplicates of all the popular heroes of the time. It is a satire on the sterilization drive of the government of India during Indira Gandhi ruling period. Each character in the film is trying to find sterilization cases. The film was banned after its release due to its portrayal of the Indira Gandhi government and its policy of compulsory sterilization during the emergency period. Later, however, the film achieved cult popularity via home video and satellite broadcast (the ban was lifted after the change of regime). Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi (; Given name, ''née'' Nehru; 19 November 1917 – 31 October 1984) was an Indian politician and a central figure of the Indian National Congress. Hullad Moradabadi (29 May 1942 – 12 July 2014) was an Indian poet, humorist and satirist of Hindi language. He had authored several Hindi books including ''Itni uchi mat chodo'', ''kya karegi chandni'', ''Ye ander ki bat hai'', ''Triveni'' and ''Hullad ka Hullad.'' He was a poet of Hindi Kavi sammelan. The Emergency (India)
The Emergency in India was a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977 when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had a state of emergency declared across the country. Officially issued by President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed under Article 352 of the Constitution because of prevailing "internal disturbance", the Emergency was in effect from 25 June 1975 to its withdrawal on 21 March 1977. The order bestowed upon the Prime Minister the authority to rule by decree, allowing elections to be cancelled and civil liberties to be suspended. For much of the Emergency, most of Gandhi's political opponents were imprisoned and the press was censored. Several other human rights violations were reported from the time, including a mass campaign for vasectomy spearheaded by her son Sanjay Gandhi. Amit Kumar (singer)
Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows.
