Narlıkuyu
Narlıkuyu (; in Turkish) is a small coastal town in Mersin Province, Turkey. History A small 4th century building, once part of a bath and baptism complex financed by Poimenios of Corycus, survives to the present in the area (''see'' Narlıkuyu Museum). The name of the area was recorded as ''Porto Calamie'' ( in Italian) by Italian cartographers during the 15th century. The earliest modern record of the settlement has been made by the Turkish Statistical Institute in 1980 as ''Narlıdere''. Previously the settlement consisted of a deserted bay and a few houses, but in 1994 the municipal organization was established under the name of Narlıkuyu. Narlıkuyu Museum
Narlıkuyu Mosaic Museum is a small museum in Narlıkuyu, Turkey that encompasses a Roman bath with a mosaic tile floor. The mosaic depicts the Three Graces. Silifke
Silifke ( grc-gre, Σελεύκεια, ''Seleukeia'', la, Seleucia ad Calycadnum) is a town and district in south-central Mersin Province, Turkey, west of the city of Mersin, on the west end of Çukurova. Cennet And Cehennem
Cennet and Cehennem ( en, heaven and hell) are the names of two large sinkholes in the Taurus Mountains, in Mersin Province, Turkey. The sinkholes are among the tourist attractions of the province. Geography Cennet and Cehennem are situated next to each other. Cennet is situated at and Cehennem is at . Erdemli
Erdemli is a town and district of Mersin Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey, west of the city of Mersin. Geography Erdemli is located between the districts of Mezitli (to the east) and Silifke (to the west). In the north, Erdemli is bordered by Karaman Province and in the south by the Mediterranean Sea. The district extends from the Mediterranean coastal plain, the largest agricultural area in Mersin Province, to high in the Taurus Mountains where there is forest, and then a large area (half the land area of the district) is high mountain above the treeline. Erdemli is a quiet rural district where the people are conservative, and is traditionally a stronghold of Turkish nationalist politicians; however some departments of Mersin University are opening branches here which will surely have an effect on the cultural and social life of Erdemli in the future. D.400 is an east–west state road in southern Turkey. The road starts at Datça in the southwest corner of the Anatolian peninsula. The road ends at the Iranian border at Esendere. Mersin (), also known as İçel, is a large city and a port on the Mediterranean Sea, Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey. It is the provincial capital of Mersin Province, Mersin (İçel) Province.
