Narcis Bădic
Narcis Iulian Bădic (born 15 July 1991) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a left back or a midfielder. Club career Bădic started his career with local team FC Politehnica Iași, and slowly made his way through the various youth teams, until the summer of 2010, when the club folded due to financial constraints. Politehnica Iași Later that summer, Bădic signed a contract with the successor of Poli, the newly founded Liga II club Politehnica Iași (2010). After two years in the Romanian second division, Bădic helped Politehnica to the 2011–12 Liga II title and subsequent promotion to Liga I. He made his first league debut on 29 April 2013, in a 1–2 defeat against FC Brașov. After two dreadful seasons marred by various injuries, in which Bădic only managed a combined four league appearances, he finally made his first team comeback for the 2014–15 Liga I campaign. Iași
Iași ( , , ; also known by other alternative names), also referred to mostly historically as Jassy ( , ), is the second largest city in Romania and the seat of Iași County. 2019–20 Liga I
The 2019–20 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) was the 102nd season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs, which began in July 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020. Suspended in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, the season resumed on 13 June and effectively ended on 5 August. It was the fifth season to take place since the play-off/play-out rule had been introduced. CFR Cluj were two-time defending champions, and they successfully defended their title once more. Universitatea Craiova contented for the trophy until the final fixture of the championship play-offs, and ultimately finished as runner-ups, while FCSB were unable to claim a top three spot in the table for the first time since the 2010–11 season. The 2018–19 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 101st season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began on 20 July 2018 and ended on 2 June 2019, being the fourth to take place since the play-off/play-out rule has been introduced. Dunărea Călărași and Hermannstadt joined as the promoted clubs from the 2017–18 Liga II. The 2013–14 Liga II was the 74th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 7 September. The 25 teams were divided in two series (with 13, respectively 12 teams). The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first six teams from each series played a play-off for promotion to Liga I. The teams placed 6th to 12th played in a Relegation play-out. The first two teams in each series promoted at the end of the season to Liga I, and the teams placed below the 10th place were relegated to Liga III.
