Narada Vijaya
''Narada Vijaya'' is a 1980 Indian Kannada-language comedy film directed and co-produced by Siddalingaiah. The story is written by M. D. Sundar. The film starred Ananth Nag, Padmapriya, Hema Choudhary and M. P. Shankar. Plot Ananth Nag plays a dual role of Narada in the celestial world and a normal human on earth. It so happens that Narada is forced to descend on earth and interact with humans. A series of humorous incidents occur. Narada enters a passenger aircraft and blesses the airhostess during disembarkment, much to the amusement of the passengers. When Narada walks through the exit gate of the airport, policemen, who think that he is Vijay (Anant Nag - a police officer in Narada's costumes) bring him to the police superintendent's office. The SP addresses him as Vijay, to which Narada politely says that he is not Vijay, but Narada, leaving all those present there, taken aback. Siddalingaiah
Siddalingaiah (15 December 1936 – 12 March 2015) was an Indian film director, scriptwriter and producer who worked mainly in the Kannada films. He was well known for his distinct film-making style, and the industry knew him as a master of social themes and rural subject matter. He was one of the most commercially successful directors in the Kannada industry. He began his film career in 1964 as a director with ''Mayor Muthanna'' (1969). In a career that spanned 30 years, he directed over 20 films. His most well-known films usually starred matinee idol Rajkumar. They have collaborated 7 times. His most popular works include ''Bangaarada Manushya, Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu, Nyayave Devaru, Biligiriya Banadalli, Doorada Betta'' and ''Bhoolokadalli Yamaraja.'' C. H. Loknath (14 August 1927 – 31 December 2018) was an Indian actor with more than 1000 Kannada plays and 650 films to his credit. Loknath is affectionately known as "Uncle Loknath" or "Uppinakayi" in the industry. His last performance was in a Star Suvarna Channel's TV series titled ''Priyadarshini''. Prathima Devi (9 April 1933 – 6 April 2021) was an Indian actress known for her work in Kannada films. Devi made her debut through the 1947 film ''Krishnaleela''. She starred in the lead role in '' Jaganmohini'' (1951), the first Kannada film to complete 100 days at the box-office. She went on to appear in over 60 films. Biography Devi was born as Mohini on 9 April 1933 in Kalladka, a town in the erstwhile South Canara region of Madras Presidency (in present-day Karnataka), to Upendra Shenoy and Saraswatibai, as the last of their four children. Thoogudeepa Srinivas
Mysore Srinivas (17 April 1943 – 16 October 1995), known by his stage name Thoogudeepa Srinivas was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films and is remembered for his portrayal of negative-shaded characters. He is the father of actor, Darshan and film director Dinakar. Early life Srinivas was born to Muniswami and Parvathamma in 1943 as their fourth son. He had eight siblings. He lost his parents at a young age. Right from his childhood days, Srinivas was interested in theatre and cinema and was a regular participant in his school and college plays. During one of these plays, he caught the eye of another theatre artist M. P. Shankar, whom he later went on to star with in many Kannada films. Karaganahalli Subbaraya Ashwathanarayana (25 March 1925 – 18 January 2010) was an Indian veteran actor who appeared in Kannada films He appeared in over 370 films during his five-decade-long career. His only memorial in the whole of Karnataka, India is in the Kengeri satellite town, Bengaluru. Memorial name - "K. S. Ashwath Memorial Children's Park". Early life Ashwath was born on 25 March 1925 in Mysore city in the Kingdom of Mysore of British India as Karaganahalli Subbaraya Ashwathanarayana.
