Naoya Uematsu
Naoya Uematsu (born September 10, 1978) is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist who competed in the bantamweight, featherweight and lightweight divisions in Cage Force, DEEP and Shooto. He is the head instructor of the NEXUSENSE gym. In addition, Uematsu is a director and referee director of the Japan Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (JBJJF). He is a director and strengthening committee member of the Japan Sambo Federation and chairman of the refereeing committee and the vice Chairman of the Japan MMA Refereeing Organization (JMOC). Mixed martial arts career Uematsu began at the age of 12 in junior high school. Kenji Osawa
Kenji Osawa (born November 4, 1976) is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist from Tokyo. He debuted in MMA over a decade ago, and trains and fights out of Wajitsu Keishukai, where he teaches once a week. MMA career Osawa's fight record is 21-11-2 and has competed in many of the top organisations such as Shooto, WEC, DREAM and DEEP. He was scheduled to fight Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Rani Yahya on August 9, 2009 at WEC 42, but due to a foot injury, he was replaced by John Hosman. Osawa lost via unanimous decision to Antonio Banuelos on November 18, 2009 at WEC 44 and was subsequently released from the promotion. Hideki Kadowaki
(born 28 May 1976) is a Japanese mixed martial artist. A professional competitor since 2000, he has competed for Shooto, DEEP, and World Victory Road. He is the former Shooto Lightweight (143 lbs) Champion. Biography Hideki Kadowaki was born in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture. He started MMA 11 years ago. He started out just goofing around with friends, and then thought it would be fun to do fighting as a job. After deciding to become a professional fighter, he joined Wajyutsu Keisyukai in Nagasaki, where the former headquarters was located. Gilbert Melendez (born April 12, 1982) is an American mixed martial artist who formerly competed in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is a two-time Strikeforce Lightweight Champion and a former WEC Lightweight Champion. He also competed in PRIDE FC, Shooto and Rumble on the Rock.
