Naomi is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Washington Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 69. It is located in far northwestern Fayette County and is bordered by Fairhope to the east, Fayette City to the south, and Lynnwood to the north. The western border is the Monongahela River, which forms the Washington County line. Pennsylvania Route 906 (PA 906) is a state highway located in Fayette, Westmoreland, and Allegheny Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 201 in Washington Township. The northern terminus is at PA 136 in Forward Township. Fayette City, Pennsylvania
Fayette City is a borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 502 at the 2020 census, a decline from the figure of 596 tabulated in 2010. It is served by the Belle Vernon Area School District. Some buildings in the town antedate 1820. Like many towns in this area, Fayette City has been home to many coal miners supporting the coal industry in the region. It was the site of the Naomi Mine explosion, December 7, 1907. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
