Naoki Matsudo
(born 25 July 1973 in Chiba, Japan) is a Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He made his debut in Japan in 1997 with the Yamaha team, and now works for Kawasaki. In 2000, he completed his first season in the 250cc World Championship, finishing the season in tenth place. In 2001, he finished ninth in the world with 112 points. In 2002, he contracted with the TEAM YAMAHA KURZ, ending the season in tenth place with 92 points. He stayed with the same team for the next few years. Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the premier class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). 2005 Japanese Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2005 Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix was the twelfth round of the 2005 MotoGP Championship. It took place on the weekend of 16–18 September 2005 at the Twin Ring Motegi citcuit. In the 250cc Class Jorge Lorenzo was handed a 1 race ban for riding in a irresponsible manner. Kawasaki Motors Racing was the European subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, located in the Netherlands. It was responsible for managing the racing activities of the MotoGP team. The subsidiary was established in 2007 as a result of the Japanese manufacturer's necessary split from Harald Eckl's organisation, who managed the Kawasaki MotoGP team since 2002. The reason for the split was Eckl's involvement with a competitor's MotoGP activities, which forced Kawasaki to terminate the relationship immediately. The 2005 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 57th F.I.M. Road racing World Championship season. The season consisted out of 17 races for the MotoGP class and 16 for the 125cc and 250cc classes, beginning with the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix on 10 April and ending with the Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix on 6 November.
