Nantong Zhiyun Football Club () is a professional China, Chinese Association football, football club that currently participates in the China League One division under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in Nantong, Jiangsu and their home stadium is the 15,000 capacity Rugao Olympic Sports Center. The club's founder and owner are the Nantong Municipal Football Association. History The club was formed when the Nantong Municipal Football Association bought the first team of Guangxi Longguida F.C. as well as their registration and position in the Chinese Football Association China League Two division. Rugao Olympic Sports Center
Rugao () is a county-level city under the administration of Nantong, Jiangsu province, China, located in the Yangtze River Delta on the northern (left) bank of the river. History In 411, the western part of then Hailing ( Taizhou) was separated from the county to create Rugao county, which named after a coastal village. During Sui dynasty, the county was merged into Ninghai county. Restored in 952, the county was transferred to then Tongzhou in 1724. Around the 1930s, Rugao was the most populous county in then Jiangsu province. Two county governments of the New Fourth Army were established in the then county: Ruxi (literally Western Rugao) and Rugao (1940–5, was renamed as Rudong by the CPC in November 1945 ), while the Tongzhou-Yangzhou Canal marked the boundary between the two regions, during the Second Sino-Japanese War. José Correia (born 22 October 1996) known as Zé Turbo, is a Bissau-Guinean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Russian Premier League club Pari NN. Abdou Razack Traoré (born 28 December 1988) is an Ivorian-born Burkinabé professional footballer who plays for Chinese club Nantong Zhiyun. Gao Dalun (; born 7 March 1997) is a Chinese footballer currently playing as a left winger for Nantong Zhiyun. Club career Gao Dalun would play for the Jiangsu Suning youth team before going on to be promoted to their senior team. Wang Jie (; born 14 January 1989) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for Nantong Zhiyun. Club career Wang Jie started his professional football career in 2010 when he was promoted to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Sainty's first squad.
