Nantong Middle School Of Jiangsu Province
Nantong High School of Jiangsu Province ( shortname: 通中, Tong-Zhong) is a high school in Nantong, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China. It has been regarded as an elite school since 1930s. Alumni include 20 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 5 summer Olympics game gold medalists, many nationally renowned artists, and an exceptional number of politicians and public servants. Nantong High School of Jiangsu Province was funded in 1909 by Zhang Jian, a well-known industrialist and educator in the late Qing Dynasty. It was the first modern middle school in the city of Nantong. It is now one of the provincial key middle schools in Jiangsu. The school motto is Cheng-Heng (Simplified Chinese: 诚恒; English: honesty in a man and perseverance in study). The school is highly selective. Zao Wou-Ki
Zao Wou-Ki (; 1 February 1920 – 9 April 2013) was a Chinese-French painter. He was a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Zao Wou-Ki graduated from the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, where he studied under Fang Ganmin and Wu Dayu. Early years Zao was born in Beijing with family roots in Dantu, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province. In his childhood he was brought back to his hometown Dantu where he studied calligraphy and gained acceptance to the Hangzhou School of Fine Arts. From 1935 to 1941, he studied painting at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, where he was taught by Lin Fengmian, Fang Ganmin and Wu Dayu. In 1948, he went with his wife Xie Jinglan (謝景蘭), a composer, to Paris to live on the same block in Montparnasse where the classes of Émile Othon Friesz took place. Li Jinhua
Li Jinhua (; born July 1943) is a retired government official in the People's Republic of China. Biography Li Jinhua was born in Rudong, Jiangsu in 1943. In 1963, he was admitted to the Central Institute of Finance and Economics. After graduating in the fall of 1966, Li was dispatched to the mountainous Shaanxi province to teach at the Northwest Institute of Finance and Economics. In 1971, Li Jinhua became an accountant for the aircraft factory number 572 in Shaanxi. He worked there for the next 14 years, and rose to become the factory's director. In 1985, Li became the Deputy Auditor General. Li became the Auditor General of the National Audit Office of China in 1998, and was appointed to his second term in 2003. Huang Zhendong (; born 1941) is a former Chinese politician who served as Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of Chongqing, and prior to that, the Minister of Transport. Huang was born in Dafeng, Jiangsu. He graduated from Nanjing Navigation Engineering College in 1962 (later known as Shanghai Maritime University). In 1963 he was assigned to work in the Port of Qinhuangdao. By 1982, he was promoted to the head of administration at the Port. In 1985, he was named Vice Minister of Transportation.
