Nansi Tireli
Nansi Tireli (born 26 February 1965) is a Croatian entrepreneur and politician who served as the 2nd president of the left-wing Croatian Labour Party and as a member of the Croatian Parliament for VIII electoral district between 2011 and 2016. Early life Nansi Tireli was born in small village Vinež near Labin in Istria. She graduated from Polytechnic of Rijeka with diploma in Economy of Entrepreneurship. She has been working as private entrepreneur since she graduated. Political career Nansi Tireli was a member of the left-wing Croatian Labour Party. She was elected to the Croatian parliament for the first time in 2011 elections. On July 14, 2016, it was announced that Labour Party suspended Tireli because she made a harm to the Party's reputation with some of her statements made in a radio show day before. The Croatian Parliament ( hr, Hrvatski sabor) or the Sabor is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of Croatia. Labin (Italian/Istriot: Albona) is a town in Istria, west Croatia, with a town population of 5,806 (2021) and 10,424 in the greater municipality (which also includes the small towns of Rabac and Vinež, as well as a number of smaller villages). History Labin developed from the site of the Roman settlement of Albona. Its name predates classical antiquity and is derived from Proto-Indo-European ''*alb-'' ("eminence", "hill"). 2015 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 8 November 2015. All 151 seats in the Parliament were up for election. This parliamentary election was the 8th since the first multi-party election in 1990 and the first since Croatia joined the European Union in 2013. The Restart Coalition ( hr, Restart koalicija) is a centre-left political alliance in Croatia. The coalition was formed in 2010 as the Kukuriku Coalition (''Kukuriku koalicija''). This somewhat facetious name meaning 'cock-a-doodle-doo', taken from a restaurant of the same name in Kastav where the coalition leaders first convened in July 2009, became well known and was eventually taken as the coalition's official name. 2011 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on Sunday, 4 December 2011 to elect 151 members to the Croatian Parliament. They were the sixth parliamentary election in Croatia since independence. Elections were held in 10 electoral districts inside Croatia (each electing 14 members of parliament), one electoral district for Croatian citizens living abroad (3 members of parliament), and one electoral district for national minorities (8 members of parliament).
