Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam
''Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam'' (), officially titled in English as ''Like An Afternoon Dream'', is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-Tamil bilingual drama film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by S. Hareesh from a story by Pellissery. It was produced by Mammootty Kampany, with Amen Movie Monastery as co-producer. The film stars Mammootty Ramya Suvi, Ramya Pandian and Ashokan and threads on insomnia, spiritualism, and fantasy. ''Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam'' was released theatrically on 19 January 2023 and received critical acclaim. At the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards, it won two awards, including Best Film (Pellissery and George Sebastian) and Best Actor (Mammootty). Lijo Jose Pellissery
Lijo Jose Pellissery (born 18 September 1978) is an Indian filmmaker and actor who works in Malayalam cinema. Known for his unconventional approach in directing, his films are characterized by nonlinear storylines and very long takes. His best works include ''Angamaly Diaries'' (2017), '' Jallikattu'' (2019) and ''Churuli'' (2021). He is the son of actor Jose Pellissery. Palani
Palani ( or ''Palni'' as in British records, is a town and a taluk headquarters in Dindigul district of the western part of Tamil Nadu state in India. It is located about south-east of Coimbatore and north-west of Madurai, from Kodaikanal. Poo Ramu (1962 – 27 June 2022) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language films as a supporting actor. Career Ramu was a member of the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers’ Association, and from 1990 to 2005, Ramu was a part of the theatre group Chennai Kalai Kuzhu.
