Nanjing City Football Club () is a professional Chinese football club that currently participates in the China League One. The team is based in Nanjing, Jiangsu. History The club was founded on 29 December 2014 as Nanjing Fengfan F.C. and participated within the Nanjing City League Second Division by the Nanjing Civil Affairs Bureau. Initially formed as youth football training club, on 1 November 2017, the club completed their Chinese Football Association (CFA) registration to participate within the Nanjing Football Association Super League and take part within the Chinese football pyramid. A seventh place finish and eighth place finish in the 2018 league season would be enough to qualify for the 2019 Chinese Champions League where they won the division title and promotion to the China League Two. Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park
The Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park () is a sport complex located in Pukou District, Nanjing, China. Its construction was started in December 2011 as part of the venues used for 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. The complex, which occupies around 1,000,000 m2 of land, consists of a main arena with other smaller sport venues. Main arena The main arena consists of two parts, the 21,000-seater Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park Arena and the 18,000-seater Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park Stadium. Unveiled in November 2017, the indoor arena is the largest indoor stadium in China. The indoor arena can host a wide range of sports such as basketball, badminton, ice hockey, and gymnastics competitions. Zhou Yu (, ) (175–210), courtesy name Gongjin (), was a Chinese military general and strategist serving under the warlord Sun Ce in the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. After Sun Ce died in the year 200, he continued serving under Sun Quan, Sun Ce's younger brother and successor. Zhou Yu is primarily known for his leading role in defeating the numerically superior forces of the northern warlord Cao Cao at the Battle of Red Cliffs in late 208, and again at the Battle of Jiangling in 209. Zhou Yu's victories served as the bedrock of Sun Quan's regime, which in 222 became Eastern Wu, one of the Three Kingdoms. Zhou Yu did not live to see Sun Quan's enthronement, however, as he died at the age of 35 in 210 while preparing to invade Yi Province (modern Sichuan and Chongqing).
