Nandi Award
The Nandi Awards are the awards that recognise the excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu television, and Lifetime achievements in Indian cinema. Presented annually by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the award is named after the big granite bull at Lepakshi — a cultural and historical symbol of the Telugu people. Nandi Awards are presented in four categories: Gold (Swarnam), Silver (Rajatam), Bronze (Kamsyam), and Copper (Raagi). A variant, the Nandi Natakotsavam Awards for Theatre, is also given every year by the government for social, mythological and poetic dramas. Allu Aravind
Allu Aravind (born 10 January 1949) is an Indian film producer and distributor in Telugu cinema under his banner Geetha Arts. He co-owns the Indian Super League club ''Kerala Blasters FC''. A part of the Allu–Konidela family, Aravind is the son of actor Allu Ramalingaiah. His sons are Allu Venkatesh, Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish. He is the maternal uncle of Ram Charan and brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi. Manjula Ghattamaneni
Manjula Swarup (née Ghattamaneni; born 8 November 1970) is an Indian film producer and actress known for her work in Telugu Cinema. Born to prominent Telugu actor Krishna, she began her acting career by doing a cameo role in the 1999 film ''Rajasthan'' and went on to act as a supporting actor in the Malayalam film ''Summer in Bethlehem''. She found fame by starring and producing in the 2002 film '' Show''. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and National Film Award for Best Screenplay for that year. Puri Jagannadh
Petla "Puri" Jagannadh (born 28 September 1966) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Telugu film Industry. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film '' Badri'' starring Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel. In 2006, he directed the Telugu film ''Pokiri'', premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai. The film was later re-made into several Indian languages, and brought Puri widespread Indian recognition. He made his Hindi film debut in 2004, with the film '' Shart: The Challenge''. ''Pokiri'' () is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film was produced by Jagannadh and Manjula Ghattamaneni by their respective production companies Vaishno Academy and Indira Productions. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Ileana D'Cruz and Prakash Raj while Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi and Sayaji Shinde appear in prominent roles. The plot revolves around a local goon whose killer instincts earn him not only his girlfriend's disapproval and a corrupt cop's enmity but also the attention of a wanted don. ''Ready'' is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla. Produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under the Sri Sravanthi Movies banner, the film stars Ram and Genelia while Nassar, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Chandra Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Jaya Prakash Reddy play other prominent roles.
