Nandan Bezbarua
Nandan Bezbarua is a former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Assam from 1967 to 1979. A middle-order and opening batsman, Bezbarua played four matches for Assam from 1966–67 to 1970–71 with little success, then returned to the team in 1974–75. In his third match that season he opened the batting and top-scored in each innings, although he made only 11 and 8 not out, and Assam totalled only 35 and 33 and lost to Bengal by an innings and 282 runs. In the second innings he carried his bat. He had his most successful season in 1977–78, scoring 121 runs at an average of 24.20, including his highest score of 59 (equal top score) against Bihar. He captained Assam in his last season, 1979–80. Assam Cricket Team
The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association. They compete and represent the state annually in the first-class Ranji Trophy tournament, limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament and the Twenty20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Bengal Cricket Team
The Bengal cricket team represents the Indian state of West Bengal in domestic first-class cricket. It is considered Eastern India's strongest cricket team. The team plays its home matches at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Bengal has won two Ranji Trophy victories and has been runner-up a total of 12 times. The Bihar cricket team represents the state of Bihar in Indian domestic cricket competitions. It is run by Bihar Cricket Association. History 1936 to 2004 The team competed in the Ranji Trophy from 1936-37 until 2003–04. When the state of Bihar was divided into two states, Bihar and Jharkhand, most of the former state's cricket infrastructure was in Jharkhand, so Jharkhand commenced playing in the Ranji Trophy, and the state of Bihar was no longer represented.
