Nanae, Hokkaidō
is a town located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. In April 2017, the town had an estimated population of 28,514, with 13,639 households, and a density of 130 persons per km2. The total area is 216.61 km2. Geography Nanae is at the southern end of the Oshima Peninsula, about 16 km away from Hakodate. Japanese Language

Hokuto, Hokkaido
is a city in the center of the Oshima Subprefecture in Japan's northern island of Hokkaido. It serves as a bedroom community for Hakodate, to the east of the city. Hokuto was formed on February 1, 2006, from merging the town of Kamiiso, from Kamiiso District, and the town of Ōno, from Kameda District. Hokuto is the third city to be established in Oshima.
