Namık Gedik
Namık Gedik (1911–1960) was a Turkish physician and politician who served as the minister of interior during the mid-1950s. He was a member of the Democrat Party which was the ruling party in the period 1950–1960. He was arrested on 27 May 1960 immediately following the military coup along with his colleagues. Gedik committed suicide soon after his detention. Early life and education Gedik hailed from a large family originated from Uşak. He was born in Trabzon in 1911 when his father was serving there as a post officer. Namık İsmail (1890 in Samsun – August 30, 1935 in Istanbul) was a Turkish Impressionist painter and art educator, who received his training in France. Biography İsmail was born into an upper-class family that moved to Istanbul while he was still a child. After attending the public schools, he was enrolled at the Saint Benoit French High School in Istanbul. Namik Resuli (10 September 1908 - 12 September 1985) was an Albanian linguist and academic. Biography Born in Berat in 1908, after having accomplished elementary studies in Albania he went to Italy, where he finished his secondary studies and then graduated in glottology in the University of Turin. His doctorate thesis "Mbi shtresëzimet në gjuhën shqipe" was written under the guide of Professor Matteo Bartoli. Resuli returned in Albania in the 1930s and taught Albanian language in Elbasan Normal School, now Aleksandër Xhuvani University, as well as in Shkodër, and Tiranë. In 1939, he went to Rome to become assistant professor of Albanian language, working there for 10 years. Namık Kemal Şentürk (born 24 July 1922, Merzifon14 April 2020) was a Turkish politician. He was the son of Bayburt lawyer Sinan Şentürk (son of Hasan Efendi, grandchild of Nazim Effendi, son of Hasan Effendi, grandson of Huseyin Effendi, from the Haciibrahim family of Kitre Village). Namık Tan (born 1956 in Mardin, Turkey) was the ambassador of Turkey to the United States. He held that office from February 2010 until May 2014. He was a former ambassador of Turkey to Israel between 2007 and 2009. He also served in the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and in senior positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Namık Kemal Yolga
Namık Kemal Yolga (1914–2001) was a Turkish people, Turkish diplomat and statesman. During World War II, Yolga was the Vice-Consul at the Turkish Embassy in Paris, France. He claimed to have saved the lives of Turkish Jews from the Nazism, Nazis but this has been challenged due to lack of evidence. In fact, evidence suggests that Yolga was actually instrumental in stripping France-born Turkish Jews of citizenship, which could have saved them from the Holocaust. He has been given a national award by the Turkish government and a Jewish foundation in Turkey. Namık Kemal Zeybek (born 1944) is a Turkish politician and was leader of the Democratic Party (2011 - 2012). A former civil servant and district governor, he was government minister in different cabinets. He was born 1944 in the village of Kitre in Bayburt Province, northeastern Turkey. He graduated in 1966 from the Law School of Ankara University.
