Namosh
Namosh (born 8 May 1981), also known as Namosh E. Arslan or Namosh Erkan Arslan, is a German singer, musician, performance artist, actor and DJ of Kurdish descent. Life and work Namosh has lived in Berlin since 1999 and is known for his eccentric and wild live performances. He performs mostly solo or with other artists at various events. He has worked with a lot of well known artists and musicians such as Peter Thomas, Wolfgang Müller and Angie Reed, performing or producing music together with them. In the music magazine Q, Björk described Namosh's song "Cold Cream" as her favourite song of 2005. The song appeared on his first album ''Moccatongue'', which was released in 2006. It was followed by ''Keep It for Later''. This, his second album, was released in 2009. In addition to his musical activities Namosh has worked as actor. Nic Romm
Nicolas "Nic" Romm (born 1974 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a German actor. Life and work After Nic Romm finished the gymnasium in Jülich, a town in the district of Düren, in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, he visited the ''Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover''. There he studied acting from 1997 to 2001. During and since his study Nic Romm appeared in several TV movies and -series and films and took part in a few theatre plays. In 2008 Nic Romm took part in a casting show, which was arranged by German Film director, actor and author Michael Herbig to find suitable actors for his live-action film adaption of ''Vicky the Viking''. Daniel Steiner
Daniel Steiner (born 1973) is a German actor and film director. Life and career Steiner was born in Rheda. In the 90s, he visited the University of Leeds, where he finished his ''Broadcasting study'' with a bachelor's degree. After he worked a few times as production assistant and made some Film & TV internships in England, Daniel Steiner began to study Commercial direction at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg in 1997. Bietigheim-Bissingen
Bietigheim-Bissingen (locally: ''Biedge-Bissenge'') is the second-largest town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany with 42,515 inhabitants in 2007. It is situated on the river Enz and the river Metter, close to its confluence with the Neckar, about 19 km north of Stuttgart, and 20 km south of Heilbronn. Jessie Evans (singer)
Jessie Evans is an American born songwriter, singer, saxophonist, and record producer currently residing in Brazil. On stage, while based out of Berlin, she was often accompanied by Iggy Pop's drummer, Toby Dammit. Her first solo album ''Is it fire?'' was released on her label 'Fantomette Records' in November 2009. The sessions were recorded with drummer Budgie of bands Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Creatures. In 2011, in Berlin, a video collaboration for Black Sand –song from her first album– was released. Angie Reed
Angie Reed is an American electronica vocalist and multiinstrumentalist, now living in Berlin. After playing in Angie et ses Tigres, she joined Stereo Total at the age of 21 as a bassist and vocalist. She left the band to pursue a solo career in 2000. Her debut solo concept album, '' Presents the Best of Barbara Brockhaus'', recorded at Chicks on Speed Records and produced by Patric Catani and Bomb 20, was released in 2003. Angie toured most of Europe as well as Istanbul, Tokyo and Moscow until 2005, when her second album, '' XYZ Frequency'' was released. Die Tödliche Doris ''(Deadly Doris;'' a pun on ''tödliche Dosis,'' meaning ''lethal dose)'' was a performance art and music group based in West Berlin from 1980 to 1987. Rough Trade Records
Rough Trade Records is an independent record label based in London, England. It was formed in 1976 by Geoff Travis who had opened a record store off Ladbroke Grove. Having successfully promoted and sold records by punk rock and early post-punk and indie pop bands such as the Normal and Desperate Bicycles, Travis began to manage acts and distribute bands such as Scritti Politti and began the label, which was informed by left-wing politics and structured as a co-operative.
