Melon Kinenbi
were an all-girl Japanese pop group within Hello! Project. They were formed after they successfully passed the 2nd Morning Musume & Michiyo Heike Imotobun Audition. Melon Kinenbi is the oldest group in the history of Hello! Project not to have changed any of its members since its formation. The band occasionally worked as dancers for other Hello! Project artists; they can, for instance, be seen in the music video for Maki Goto's single "Yaruki! It's Easy". The entire group officially graduated from the Hello! Project on March 31, 2009, along with the rest of the Elder Club. After their graduation, they collaborated with other Japanese punk-rock groups for several limited-release indie singles, and released their 4th album ''Melon's Not Dead''. Emy Jackson (エミー・ジャクソン, born Emy Eaton, 2 July 1945) is a Japanese female singer. Biography Emy Jackson was born in Essex, England, to Japanese parents, and moved to Yokohama as a teenager. She found work as a disc jockey for the ''Good Hit Parade'' on Radio Kanto. In April 1965 her debut single ''Crying in a Storm'' was released. Jackson was promoted as a foreign artist. The single peaked at No. 4 on the chart of foreign releases in ''Music Life'' and No. 6 on the ''Turn Table Top 50''. She is the first Japanese artist to have sold a million records singing in English (for ''Crying in a Storm''). Emy Jackson's initial musical career was a brief one. Maria Anzai (安西 マリア, ''Anzai Maria'', b. ''Mariko Shibasaki'' on December 16, 1953 - d. March 15, 2014) was a Japanese idol.
