Nambashi Dialect
Nambashi is a common reference to five villages in Kamjong District, Manipur State, India. Nambashi consists of Nambashi Khullen, Nambashi Khunou, Nambashi Horton, Nambashi Kachumram and Nambashi Valley. The villages fall under Kasom Khullen Sub-Division. The village is connected by Ukhrul-Phungyar NH-102A (Shangshak Tengnoupal) and Kasom-Yairipok ADB road. Nambashi is flanked by Tarong, Manipur, Tarong in the North, Kashung in the south, Tuyungbi RiverPunge and Sorde, Manipur, Sorde in the east and Taret River in the west. Vidhan Sabha
The State Legislative Assembly, or Vidhan Sabha, or also Saasana Sabha, is a legislative body in the states and union territories of India. In the 28 states and 3 union territories with a unicameral state legislature, it is the sole legislative body and in 6 states it is the lower house of their bicameral state legislatures with the upper house being State Legislative Council. 5 union territories are governed directly by the Union Government of India and have no legislative body. Leishiyo Keishing
Leishiyo Keishing or K Leishiyo is an Naga people politician from Manipur, India. He has been elected from Phungyar Assembly Constituency in 2017 and 2022 as Naga People's Front Candidate in Manipur Legislative Assembly and had served as Chairman of its Hill Area Committee from 2020 till 2022. Early life Leishiyo Keishing born on 1st March 1974 is the eldest of the 4 sons of Mr.Samphang Keishing and Mrs.Martha Ningshen of Nambashi Horton village in Kamjong district, Manipur. Tangkhul Naga People
The Tangkhuls are a major Naga ethnic group living in the Indo–Burma border area, occupying the Ukhrul district and Kamjong district in Manipur, India and the Somra tract hills, Layshi township, Homalin township and Tamu Township in Burma. Despite this international border, many Tangkhul have continued to regard themselves as "one nation". Relationship with the Meiteis Haoreima, the Meitei goddess of tragic love and separation, was actually a deified person of the Tangkhul origin. She was a daughter of ''Khelemba'', a Tangkhul chief of Chingdai village, and was married to ''Khamlangba'', a Tangkhul chief of Chingshong village. Punge is a small village located west of Kamjong in Kamjong District, Manipur state, India. The village falls under Phungyar sub division. The village is partially connected by Ukhrul-Phungyar state highway and Shangshak-Yairipok district road. Punge is flanked by Mawai, Manipur, Mawai in the west, Sorbung in the south, Kangpat in the east and Sorde, Manipur, Sorde in the north. Kasom Khullen
Kasom Khullen is a village located at the north-eastern state of Manipur in India. The village, about 64 km away from the capital Imphal, is also the headquarter of the Kasom Sub Division situated at the southern region of Kamjong district. The village is inhabited by about 250 households. Kasom Khullen, like majority of the villages in the district is inhabited by the Tangkhul Naga tribe.
