Nam Từ Liêm District
Nam Từ Liêm (''South Từ Liêm'') is an urban district (''quận'') of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It was formed on 27 December 2013, when the rural Từ Liêm district was split into two urban districts: Bắc Từ Liêm and Nam Từ Liêm. The district currently has 10 wards, covering a total area of 32.19 square kilometers. As of 2019, there were 264,246 people residing in the district, the population density is 8200 inhabitants per square kilometer. The district is known for its many new urban developments and several skyscrapers.

The Museum of Hanoi ( vi, Bảo tàng Hà Nội) is located in Nam Từ Liêm district of Hanoi, Vietnam. The museum displays artifacts from Hanoi's 1000-year history and the history, culture, heritage, and architecture of Vietnam. It showcases over 50,000 artifacts in a total area of nearly 54,000 square meters. The Hanoi museum was opened in 2010 for the Millennial Anniversary of Hanoi. Vietnam National Convention Center
The National Convention Center (NCC, ) is a major convention center located on Thăng Long Boulevard in Nam Từ Liêm district of Hanoi, Vietnam. The convention center was designed by Meinhard von Gerkan and Nikolaus Goetze of Gerkan, Marg and Partners. Overview History Meinhard von Gerkan, who previously designed the Vietnamese National Assembly building, was assigned to design the National Convention Center. Four designs were presented for consideration in April 2004. In the end, a design called "Surfing the East Sea" was unanimously chosen as the official design of the project by a panel of 31 Vietnamese architects. The project received government approval on October 25, 2004 and construction started on November 15 the same year. On October 15, 2006, the Vietnam National Convention Center was inaugurated.
