Mérida, officially known as ''Santiago de los Caballeros de Mérida'', is the capital of the municipality of Libertador and the state of Mérida, and is one of the main cities of the Venezuelan Andes. The men's light heavyweight boxing event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place between 25 July and 4 August 2021 at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. 22 boxers from 22 nations competed.
