Naki Akarobettoe
Naki Akarobettoe (born May 11, 1984), also known as Naki Akrobettoe, is an American poet who has worked with prominent singers and is cofounder of the organizations D.E.E.P. (Developing Empowering Enhancing Poets through Poetry) and Azucar Morena Ent. Biography Naki Akarobettoe was born in Columbus, Ohio where she also grew up. She is the daughter of an American coalminer and of a granddaughter of some members of a family that were royals in part of what is now Ghana. Dwele
Andwele Gardner (born February 14, 1978), better known by his stage name Dwele, is an American R&B singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer from Detroit, Michigan. Biography Gardner was raised on the west side of Detroit in a musical family. He played piano from the age of six, later taking up trumpet, bass and guitar. He was deeply affected by the fatal shooting of his father outside his home when he was age ten, later stating "I learned to put my emotions into music; it was my therapy." He cites Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Roy Ayers, Miles Davis, and Freddie Hubbard as favorite artists, and took inspiration from hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, becoming an MC, and working with Slum Village. The Ga-Dangbe, Gã-Daŋbɛ, Ga-Dangme, or GaDangme are an ethnic group in Ghana, Togo and Benin. The Ga and Dangbe people are grouped respectively as part of the Ga–Dangme ethnolinguistic group. Talib Kweli Greene (; born October 3, 1975) is an American rapper. He earned recognition early on through his collaboration with fellow Brooklyn rapper Mos Def in 1997, when they formed the group Black Star.
