Najim Amari, better known by the mononym Najim ( ar, نجيم) also known as Cheb Najim () (born 18 January 1985, Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine) is an Algerian raï singer. Biography Najim was born in France to an Algerian father and a French mother. Upon his parents' separation, Najim, just 3 months old, moved to Algeria to live with his grandparents in Bordj Bou Arréridj, in east Algeria. He started in music very young at 6 with his uncles who were accomplished musicians. He performed on many social occasions singing mostly Sétifian music. At 15 he accompanied his uncles on a musical tour that took him to major Algerian cities. He also appeared on shows on Algerian television. in 2001, the 17-year-old Najim was reunited with his mother for the first time. Najim Arshad (born 8 June 1986) is a state award-winning Indian playback singer and music director, sung more than 500 songs in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries. Abdul Najim Haidary ( prs, عبدالنجم حیدری; born 26 December 1999) is an Afghan international footballer who plays as a defender for Ariana in Sweden. Club career Having progressed through the academy of Excelsior Rotterdam, Haidary joined Tweede Divisie side BVV Barendrecht in 2018, going on to make his debut for the club later the same year. Najm al-'Ashrāwī ( ar, نجم العشراوي, 18 May 1991 – 22 March 2016), also known as Abū Idrīs al-Baljīkī or Soufiane Kayal, was a Belgian-Moroccan Islamic militant loyal to the Islamic State and was one of two suicide bombers at the Brussels Airport in the 2016 Brussels bombings. The Islamic State confirmed that he was responsible for making all the explosives used in the November 2015 Paris attacks. Najim Haddouchi (born 9 June 1997) is a Dutch football player of Moroccan descent who plays for GVV Unitas. Club career Najim Haddouchi made his professional football debut for FC Den Bosch on 12 August 2016, in the 2-1 home game against De Graafschap. He replaced Luuk Brouwers after 77 minutes. He also played matches for Young FC Den Bosch in the Sunday Derde Divisie. Najim Abdullah al-Jubouri is an Iraqi Major General and governor. Al-Jubouri commanded Iraqi Army forces attempting to oust the forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant from the Nineveh Governorate during the Battle of Mosul (2016–2017).
