Naidangiin Otgonjargal
Naidangiin Otgonjargal ( mn, Найдангийн Отгонжаргал; born November 14, 1979, in Bulgan sum, Arkhangai aimag) is an amateur Mongolian freestyle wrestler, who played for the women's lightweight category. Between 2001 and 2004, Otgonjargal had won a total of three medals (one gold and two bronze) for the 51 and 55 kg classes at the Asian Wrestling Championships. She also captured two bronze medals in the same division at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Otgonjargal represented Mongolia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's 55 kg class. Tonya Lynn Verbeek (born 14 August 1977) is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. Verbeek was the first woman to win a wrestling medal for Canada when she took silver in 2004, she added to that with a bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympics and a second silver at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She has also won two bronze and a silver at the world championships and has a bronze and silver from the Pan American Games and Commonwealth Games respectively. Sports career She was born in Grimsby, Ontario. She took up wrestling in grade eleven and was undefeated throughout high school in Beamsville, Ontario. This freestyle wrestling competition consisted of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists faced off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who lost to one of the two finalists moved into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket.
