Nagehan Akşan (born February 22, 1988) is a Turkish Women's association football, women's football Defender (association football), defender , who plays in the Turkish Women's Football Super League, Women's Super League for Çaykur Rizespor (women's football), Çaykur Rizespor with jersey number 61. She was a member of the Turkey women's national football team, Turkish national team. Club career Nagehan Akşan obtained her license for her hometown club Trabzonspor (women), Trabzonspor on November 16, 2007. After playing 32 matches and scoring two goals in two seasons, she transferred to Maltepe Yalıspor, Yalıspor in Istanbul. She capped 19 times and scored an own goal for Yalıspor in the 2010–11 season. For the 2011–12 season, she returned to Trabzon to join the Trabzon İdmanocağı, where she still plays. İdmanocağı or İdman Ocağı is a Turkish sports club based in Trabzon, Turkey. The club had a strong rivalry with another club, İdmangücü, which matched the The Intercontinental Derby, Istanbul derby between Fenerbahçe S.K., Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray S.K., Galatasaray. İdmanocağı were compared to Galatasaray in that period, partly because of this rivalry and partly because of their red and yellow colours. The association football, football department discontinued in 1967 when they were forced by the Turkish Football Federation to merge with İdmangücü and two other local clubs, Karadenizgücü and Martıspor to form Trabzonspor. They were founded as the first club in the city of Trabzon. Being old and deeply rooted in the city, they played a huge role in the development of various sports in the city.
