Nagalingam (film)
''Nagalingam'' is an Indian Tamil-language devotional film written and directed by Babu Ganesh, who also starred in the titular role. Apart from acting and directing, Babu Ganesh also wrote the script, composed the music and handled editing and choreography respectively. The film, which also starred Ravali, Neena and Babloo Prithiveeraj in leading roles, released on 23 June 2000. Babu Ganesh is an Indian film actor-director, who has worked in Tamil films. In his films, he has often attempted to handle as many aspects related to filmmaking — being credited for story, screenplay, dialogue, lyrics, music, singing, editing, director of photography, acting, special effects, direction, production, choreography and as a stunt choreographer. Career Babu Ganesh made his debut directing and starring in ''Kadal Pura'' (1993), before appearing in a supporting role in Vikraman's ''Pudhiya Mannargal'' (1994). Babu Ganesh launched a big budget Tamil film titled ''Bharathi'' with Khushbu in the lead role alongside him in 1996 and the pair met with Mother Teresa to get a blessing before commencing the project. Babloo Prithiveeraj (born 29 November 1965) is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. Career Prithveeraj made his acting debut as a child artiste and featured in films including ''Naan Vazhavaippen'' (1979), under the stage name of Babloo. Nadigar Sangam
The Nadigar Sangam ( en, Actors' association), officially known as the South Indian Artistes' Association (SIAA), is a union for film, television, and stage actors in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, based in Chennai. Formed in 1952, the group has a charitable trust fund to provide pensions to retired actors, voice support for actors caught in controversy, and have collectively protested socio-political issues. Elections in the Nadigar Sangam, which is made up of over 3000 members, are held once every three years to determine the president of the group. R.
