''Games for Schoolchildren'' or ''Well, Come On, Smile''; ( et, Naerata ometi) is a 1985 Soviet Estonian drama film directed by Arvo Iho and Leida Laius. The film was loosely based on the 1963 short story ''Kasuema'' (''Stepmother'') by Estonian author Silvia Rannamaa. Plot After the death of her mother, high school student Mari ends up in an orphanage. Three days later, the girl returns home, but her drunken father makes it clear almost from the door that she doesn't belong here. The night spent at the train station ends for Mari with an acquaintance with an aggressive group of teenagers, led by Robi, and being driven to the police. In the morning, the fugitive leaves the cell: the orphanage teacher came for her. The orphanage has its own internal hierarchy. The dashing guy Robi is considered the informal leader. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. Maria Klenskaja
Maria Klenskaja (29 January 1951 – 6 January 2022) was an Estonian actress. Early life and career Klenskaja was born in Tartu, of Russian parentage. From 1968 until 1970, she worked in the Estonian State Youth Theatre in Tallinn as a make-up artist and in the prop department. In 1974 she graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory's Performing Arts Department. Since 1974 she had been a contracted actress at the Estonian Drama Theatre. She was also engaged as an actress at the Vanalinnastuudio for one year, beginning in 1989. Besides theatre roles she had also had a successful film career and has appeared on television and in radio theatre. Personal life and death Klenskaja was in a relationship with actor Aarne Üksküla for over thirty years, until his death in 2017. Klenskaja died on 6 January 2022, aged 70, following a prolonged illness. Rudolf Allabert
Rudolf Allabert (3 September 1939 Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast – 10 March 2011 Tallinn) was an Estonian actor, director and theatrical pedagogue. Until 1961 he worked at Rakvere Theatre. In 1965 he graduated from Tallinn State Conservatory. Allabert was a founding member of the Estonian State Youth Theatre. In 2006 he was awarded with Order of the White Star, IV class. Following his death in 2011, he was interred at Tallinn's Forest Cemetery.
